Red Clover (Trifolium pretense) is a wild edible plant belonging to the legume family and grows in many s around the world. the preferable part of this wild edible is the flower.

Red clover is a source of many valuable nutrients including calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, and vitamin C. One of its common uses is to help with overall cardiovascular health. Red clover is an excellent blood purifier that over time gradually cleanses the bloodstream and corrects deficiencies in the circulatory system.

Red clover is known as one of the world's oldest and most common natural herbal supports for the treatment for all varieties of cancer. Red clover isoflavone supplementation reduces heart disease risk. Red clover stops the growth of and kills the bacteria Clostridium sticklandii. The isoflavones in red clover works together to increase its antimicrobial effect.

The isoflavones daidzein, genistein, formononetin, and biochanin A all inhibit the COX enzyme activity. COX is only produced by the body as part of an inflammatory response, as opposed to many other molecules with a role in the immune system, which are continually produced to some degree. The COX pathway is also involved in the regulation of cell growth.

A combination of red clover flower and biomimetic peptides improved feather and fur quality. The combination of reduced inflammation and stimulated protein leads to an increase in feather and growth density.
